Project Description:

Originally built in 1989, the existing two-story masonry office building went through a significant interior renovation to accommodate the new headquarters for Mechanics Cooperative Bank in Taunton, Massachusetts. Nearly all the 42,000 s.f. of interior office space was demolished to satisfy the programmatic needs of the Client, inclusive of the existing mechanical system, electrical services, and exterior windows. The new headquarters features a welcoming reception & lobby area, a range of conferencing and collaboration spaces including a large board room, private offices, open office space, training rooms, employee café space and satellite coffee areas, as well as a dedicated employee fitness center. Considerations were also made for additional growth within the bank, and future tenant lease opportunities.
