Project Description:

Vision 3 Architects completed an interior fit-out of Adler Pollock & Sheehan’s (AP&S) office at 100 Westminster Street, 16th Floor, Providence, RI. This 20,000 square-foot renovation project aimed to transform the law firm’s work environment into a light, modern, and inviting space, reflecting their forward-thinking position within the legal industry.

The project posed design challenges, notably fitting AP&S’s program into a space downsized by 33% compared to their previous office without compromising the number of workspaces. Vision 3 Architects worked closely with the client to explore multiple building options and renovation concepts before finalizing the current location. The fast-track construction process required careful coordination to meet the client’s ambitious timeline.

Key design features include an open café with panoramic views of downtown Providence, curved ceiling and wall elements that soften the rigidity of the existing space, and the use of light-colored materials like white oak and marble. These choices enhanced the aesthetic goals of AP&S, bringing warmth and texture while maximizing natural light through ample glass along perimeter spaces.
