Jamie Valway

Jamie received her Master of Architecture Degree from Roger Williams University in 2018. During her time in school she served as a project manager and team leader for the Community Partnerships Center which assists non-profit organizations with initial design strategies. She also spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy where she volunteered as a tour guide and was mentioned in AND Magazine for her collaborative design between ISI and the University of Florence. As a member of the Vision 3 Team, Jamie is most excited about knowing the projects she works on have a greater meaning of improving the physical environment in which people live.

Outside of the office, Jamie helps her mother foster and train dogs. Her passion for animals inspired her final thesis project in college, a “canine community” in Dallas, Texas with a focus on redesigning and destigmatizing animal shelters. During the summer, she enjoys drawing landscapes, archery, hiking, and fishing. She is also an expert on comic book trivia and Greek/Egyptian mythology.
