Project Description:

This 43,500 square foot, two-story facility replaces the former Rhode Island Air National Guard headquarters and consolidates administrative offices, a medical clinic, and a full-service dining facility into one modern building.

Inspired by flight, the design pays homage to the Airlift Wing through signature shed roofs that evoke the wings of an airplane. An angled building footprint captures views of the adjacent active airstrip, reinforcing the project’s aviation context. Located along the waterfront at Quonset State Airport, the facility was carefully designed to meet all UFC and ANGETL standards while supporting efficient operations and long-term mission needs.
