SENIOR ASSOCIATE, HEALTHCARE STUDIO LEADER
401.406.7120
Stephanie began her career at Vision 3 Architects in 1997 as an intern after earning a Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University. She quickly developed a strong interest in healthcare design and played a key role in establishing the firm’s Healthcare Studio. Stephanie has been the Director of the Healthcare Studio since 2012 and is also a Senior Associate at the firm. Over the years, she has earned a reputation for Vision 3 as a leader in healthcare design, with a focus on community health centers, multi-specialty medical office buildings, imaging facilities, dental offices, surgery centers, and ambulatory care spaces. Stephanie is highly knowledgeable in healthcare compliance, regulatory standards, and Department of Health licensing. She also excels at implementing patient-centered design principles into the physical healthcare environment. With a certification in Evidence-Based Design, she ensures that design decisions are informed by the latest healthcare research to achieve optimal outcomes for patients, staff, and operations.
Stephanie takes great satisfaction in guiding her clients through all stages of their projects, from predesign to construction administration. Many of her clients return for multiple projects, some have worked with her for over 15 years. The most rewarding aspect of healthcare design for Stephanie is seeing the positive impact these projects have on both patients and staff. Some of her recent work includes projects for Brown University Health, Providence Community Health Centers, Thundermist Health Center, PACE RI, and Brown Physicians Inc.
Outside of work, Stephanie lives in Warwick with her husband, two children, and their dog, Brody. They enjoy spending quality time together, whether it’s outdoor hikes, hosting pool parties, or soaking up the summer sun at Roy Carpenter’s Beach.
